We’ve been getting lots of snow this week, how about you? Even if you aren’t, these are some fun ways to get festive and crafty with little ones or pets!
Handmade wrapping paper
We did this with our toddler but it could easily be done with pets too!

All you need is some craft paper and non toxic acrylic paint as well as some paper plates and paint brushes/foam brushes .
You’ll need a good working surface that’s easy to clean and an apron for little ones too 🤍

You just wet your little one/pet’s hand/paw and press their hands/paws down firmly until you get a cute little hand/paw print 🤚🐾

Your little ones will have so much fun with this and can get creative with colors and how they want it to look!
We also did some on construction paper while we were getting messy to use in other Christmas crafts we want to gift to loved ones 🤍
Christmas Tree Pom Poms

A fun way to let little ones get creative with minimal needed materials! All you need for this one is a cereal box/any cardboard box, a box cutter, packing tape, Pom poms, and googly eyes.

First, I prepared the box by very carefully cutting out a Christmas tree shape with a box cutter. You can definitely just use one side of a cereal box so it lays flat. I just kept it as a box with the possibility of putting lights inside to light it up later.
Then, you just use the packing tape to tape the inside of the Christmas tree to the cardboard.
I would recommend putting the googly eyes on the tape next, so the pom Poms can go around them.
I let my little guy just paint the box too since he wanted to paint, and then we just added Pom Poms to the tape.

Gingerbread houses
This is a classic and we kept it easy with a done-for-you kit we bought for $10 at our grocery store, but you could definitely look up recipes to do it from scratch!

We simply followed the kit’s instructions and broke apart the different pieces of the houses and put them together with frosting, adding gumdrops and candy as embellishments ❄️🎄

Christmas movie fort
Not really a craft, just more of an idea for a cozy activity 🤍
