Utah’s best dog friendly pumpkin patches

It’s officially fall!! Here are our fave dog-friendly things to do in Utah this Fall!

Cross E Ranch — Salt Lake City, Utah

Just outside of Salt Lake, this is by far our favorite pumpkin patch! It is MASSIVE, with SO much to do for pups and kids alike!

With lots of parking, you’re sure to get a spot, although this is a popular place so going during the week might help too!

They have lots of ticket options, including season passes (which usually are discounted before they open in mid-September) as well as an option to buy a bounce back ticket. They also have discounted pricing for large groups.

I’m sure it’ll differ each year, but this is the pricing information for Fall 2025 below.

They also do private parties and birthday parties, field trips, and private animal interactions.

We grabbed a season pass at a discount this year and paid $40 to go all season long! You should know, all tickets have to be purchased online. There is no option to buy tickets at the gate.

Things you should know about bringing your pup: they need to stay on a leash at all times, and can’t be left unattended.

Their official policy from their website reads:

Can I bring my Pet (Dog)?
–Yes! We allow dogs at all of our festivals. We only require that they be on a leash at all times, you clean up any messes they may leave (bring bags – we don’t provide them), and that they are nice community members – ie: no barking or aggressive behavior that scares other guests or our ranch animals. Note that pets of any kind are never allowed in animal pens and some animal areas!

You can visit their FAQ page for any other questions you have about going too!

I LOVE LOVE all the photo ops around the farm too! I also love that they provide free water bottles for everyone, and have them placed throughout the farm so no one ever has to go thirsty (especially our little fur friends!)!

They have a little market when you first walk in, selling gifts and donuts to-go, but there are also lots of other dessert (including caramel apples and apple cider donuts) /meal options throughout the farm, so you don’t have to worry if you start getting hungry! I believe their beef is also the beef they raise on their farm—so it’s extra tasty!

There are tons of activities! Including seeing all the farm animals (including a highland cow and baby goats!), watching pig races, fun corn maze scavenger hunt, hayride/barrel train ride, wall climbing, bean bag tosses/tether ball, rat rollers, giant blocks, mega slides, ropes courses, zip lines, jump pads, duck races, archery, face painting, fire pits, hula cows, giant jenga, and more!

They do have pony riding, but you do have to pay an extra $5 for it.
