We loved stopping by on our little road trip to Midway this summer. The beach is more muddy, than sandy, but our little guy still loved playing with the rocks a little higher up on the beach and walking along the shore.

The water has waves too, which makes it feel like your at the ocean, although we didn’t go in the water. There were quite a few families there on the beach with canopies, and all stocked on food and drinks for the day. Lots of families with boats and speed boats.

There are port-a-potties and there is a little rentals shop that sells the types of snacks you’d see at a gas station (along with life jackets, canoe/kayaks, etc).
