The views on this very easy, about .6 mile hike (one-way) are amazing—with the gorgeous mountains as a backdrop.

A dog friendly trail, this is a great place to bring your doggo with you for some fun photos!

The poppies bloom at the end of May/beginning of June, and the trail is marked off with rope to discourage stepping on the flowers and damaging them in any way. It’s important to be respectful and keep pets and children from harming the poppies.

We found that at the peak of poppy blooms, this trail and the garden the poppies are in get very crowded, so try to go during the day, or earlier on in the season.
