Our little guy is OBSESSED with dinosaurs right now, so we decided to make homemade playdough, pull out some quinoa, pasta, and other staples we had on hand (read more about dog friendly sensory bin options HERE) and created a dinosaur themed sensory bin activity for him—he LOVED it! And even better, it ACTUALLY kept him busy for longer than a few minutes while mama could tackle some dishes!
HERE is the recipe we followed to make the homemade playdough, and all products (including the very necessary splat mat from Tiny Twinkle to help prevent any damage of our beautiful side table-turned toddler table (which we just have bordering our dining/living room).
We didn’t have food coloring on hand, but you can of course add even more fun with colors!
The dinosaur figurines can of course be substituted with any other themed characters/figures your child is interested in (whether it be farm/zoo animals, people, cars/transportation vehicles, fairies, unicorns, etc.)
